Before importing your CSV file, please ensure that you have the correct header names (we look for your header names in the first row of the spreadsheet)
The table below lists what these header names are and how you can use them. Please update the names of the headers you currently have in your spreadsheet to match the relevant field below EXACTLY.
You don't have to populate every field, we will calculate other values for you depending on what you enter. You can see more detail on this below

We will match this by name to your existing categories, if one is not found we will create it for you. If you don't enter one we'll set it as Other

| Amount |
If you enter this column we will match it exactly
If you don't we will calculate the value based on what you enter for Inc Amount, Net Amount, VAT or Tax Rate and Tax Inclusive
For example if you enter an Inc Amount and Tax Inclusive true we will take the Inc Amount. Whereas if you enter a Net Amount and VAT only we will assume its Tax Inclusive and sum the Net Amount and VAT. These are just 2 examples, there are other combinations of values you can use

For example if you enter a Net Amount and VAT only we will sum the values. Whereas if you enter an Amount, a Tax Rate and Tax Inclusive false we will calculate the Inc Amount from the Amount and the Tax Rate. These are just 2 examples, there are other combinations of values you can use

If you don't, again we will calcualte the value based on what you enter for Amount, Inc Amount, Net Amount, Tax Rate and Tax Inclusive

The possible values for this column are 1, yes, and true. Where 1, yes and true will set the flag to true, anything else will set it to false
If you don't enter this column we will assume the Amount column IS tax inclusive

| Tax Rate |
This is the percentage of tax applied to the amount
You can leave this column blank, if you do we will calculate it for you based on the the values you enter for Amount, Inc Amount, Net Amount and VAT

Enter dates in either DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD format
Please ensure you always enter this field if you want the date to be accurate
If you leave this column blank we will populate it with today's date

You must enter at least 2 of the amount and tax based columns for us to be able to calculate the other values. For example you can enter an Inc Amount and Net Amount, an Inc Amount or Net Amount and VAT or an Amount and a Tax Rate. These are some of many combinations you can use. If you do not enter at least 2 of these we wont be able to calculate the other columns for you
